EFU Health Insurance Limited has made available its website, portal and MyHealth mobile app (hereinafter referred to as “EFU Health online services”) to facilitate its customers. The privacy policy section is followed by Terms of Use section. By visiting or using EFU Health online services or sharing your data with us, you are accepting practices described in Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

EFU Health will review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use periodically and may change it without any notice.

How and what Personal data is collected

We collect your personal data when you choose to share it with us. By sharing your data you enable us to enroll you for policy, deliver our services and to allow us to communicate with you. If you are eligible for our services through your employer, your employer may provide us your following personal and sensitive personal data directly or via third party. In case you apply for individual or family plan, we may collect below information directly from you.

We also collect information pertaining to your medical treatment for which your claim is received by us. This information includes applicable records such as medical history, diagnosis, reports, bills and receipts.

When you interact with EFU Health online services we may ask you for some of the above data. For example when you create account in EFU Myhealth app or portal we may ask your CNIC number, email address and mobile number to verify you in our records and check your eligibility to register. Furthermore we may also ask for your location when you access some of the features of EFU Myhealth app. When you request for addition of your family member, we may ask for some of the above listed information related to your family member.

Furthermore we also collect other information when you access EFU Health online services. This information includes your IP, browser info, device info, Page or feature you accessed and timestamp of your visit. In case of visiting our website we also learn about the referral used to reach our website.

How to request for deletion of personal data

You can ask for deletion of your personal data under certain circumstances. If you want to remove your account in our mobile app, you can submit your request through our app for account deletion or alternatively (and in case of Portal account), you can request us by sending an email to Customer.Relations@efuhealth.com. Your request will be processed within 15 days and we will send you confirmation once deletion is processed. Upon deletion of your account you will not be able to login in mobile app and/or portals but you will be able to signup again until your policy is active. Please note that in case you request deletion, we might keep some of the data necessary to keep our services available to you and for legal or regulatory obligations.

All content of EFU Health online services is protected by copyright with all rights reserved. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any of its content including, but not limited, to Company Name, Logos, text and graphic images nor should you use links or reference in your materials, website or application without prior written consent of EFU Health. Some content on EFU Health website may be protected by copyrights of other companies.

Term and Termination

Portal and some of the exclusive features in mobile applications will be available to our active policy holders only. Features may also vary for different users depending on their policies and coverage. EFU Health reserve its right to revoke access from portal and mobile applications in case your policy gets inactive or any violation of Terms of Use is noticed.

All content of the EFU online services, including, but not limited to, graphics, text and hyperlinks or references to other sites, is subject to alteration without prior notice and is provided on an “as is” basis and without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied.

We do not warrant the adequacy, accuracy, reliability or completeness of any information provided and expressly disclaim any liability for errors or omissions therein. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted and/or error-free.
